Ok so you are going to a movie or have a “movie night” at home.
Want to know what I discovered to curb the craving for popcorn? Medifast Crackers!
Don’t ruin your diet! This salty snack does the trick! Try it!
If asked why I love liquid diets, I will always answer the same thing..”They work!”
If you want to lose weight quickly and easily, this is your plan!
This is a picture of one of my favorite things on the Medifast Diet!
Unlike other similar liquid diet programs that only let you drink shakes, Medifast gives you tons of food choices.
Medifast Chicken Noodle soup is my new favorite! Sometimes I add a little less water and a little salt for a great noodle dish! YUM!
One of the things that I am finding out on my Medifast diet is the importance of planning.
If I make some of my brownies ahead of time and have my shakes set out, I do great.
If I don’t have it ready to go, I am tempted to cheat and just eat out or something else! So I am committed to planning every day from now on!
So join in and get skinny with me!
Ok…I admit I had a horrible week. I went off my liquid diet.
I wanted to go off my diet for just two days…my birthday and my daughters so I could have my cake and eat it too!
Well..two days turned into a whole week!
Was it worth it? NO! I don’t feel as good and I gained a couple of pounds back!
Ok…now I am back…
Medifast for me!
Here is my liquid diet success update! My weight loss total reached 10 Pounds today! Woohoo!
Here are the two liquid diet recipes for when you want a change of pace on the Medifast plan:
Brownies (warning: don’t expect Betty Crocker…but not too bad.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix in a bowl 1 chocolate pudding packet, 1 chocolate shake packet, and two oatmeal packets (either maple brown sugar or apple work fine.) Add 1 Tb. vegetable oil, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp baking powder, 2 Tb Splenda and stir in just enough water to make it the consistency of a normal brownie mix.
Spray a 8×8 pan with cookie spray and spread the mixture evenly on the bottom of the pan.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until firm. Cut into 4 even pieces for 4 meal replacement brownies.
Oatmeal Bars
Follow the directions above for Brownies except replace the chocolate packets with 2 vanilla shake packets!
These are nice when you are out and about and making a shake is not as convenient and you don’t have refrigeration or a microwave!
Enjoy!
At two weeks, I have successfully lost 9 pounds and one pant size on my diet! Woohoo!
I have to admit, though, I have not been doing it as an entirely “liquid” diet. Medifast has soups, oatmeal and bars too. I have even started making Brownies and Oatmeal bars from the different mixes. (I will post those recipes tomorrow!)
I was on Atkins with my husband for over a month and lost no where NEAR this much!
Recipes tomorrow…
Let’s face it. This is not the first diet that I have tried. I even tried Atkins again right before this…because my husband was willing to try it with me.
However, the weight loss was slow and my motivation began to go.
I have tried Weight Watchers, Atkins, Zone, Body for Life, Jenny Craig, and probably a zillion others that I can’t think of now.
I am glad to be back to Medifast…because it will work.
